If you're looking for a weekend uniform...👕

It’s officially spring season, and this week I'm taking the utility shirt for a test drive. I’ve been looking forward to the chance to shoot this piece for a while now, and it’s really a solid garment for any casual or weekend hangout. We designed it to have a relaxed fit, so that it drapes off the body flawlessly and is perfectly suiting for warmer weather. It also has a slightly cropped length, which keeps it looking neat over a tailored pair of trousers, cargos, or straight leg denim. You can wear it unbuttoned as a summer jacket, relaxed like a camp collar shirt, or buttoned all the way to the top for a more formal look.

As per styling, my idea for putting this outfit together was to keep a desert brown palette, pairing the workshirt with a pair of straight leg corduroys and our Emerson Lug Sole Chelseas in a dusty finish, although loafers would have looked great as well. We don’t have these in stock quite yet…but they’re currently in production, and we hope to have them later next month or early May. Overall, when done right, there’s something about these earth tones, that always gives a really strong vibe of masculinity. 

As you can see, I’m sticking to the plot of being all about simplicity. When you’ve got a few solid pieces, it’s really not that hard to do. Accessories will always tie these minimal fits together, and for this shoot, I added our ‘Gent’ Trucker Hat (also coming soon), a camo duffle, and a pocket bandana for a little bit of flair. And there you have it. A relaxed outfit template, that will keep you looking the part without constantly having to overthink each outing. 

We all live a slightly different lifestyle, but take our self presentation rather seriously, so I’ll do my best to keep these coming while switching up the style angles, and outfit purpose.
