Smart Layers That Take You Anywhere. ☃️

Timeless Winter Style Tips from Men's Style Pro.

Greetings Gents,

Sabir here from @MenStylePro. Winter is here, and the temps are dropping fast. But staying warm doesn’t mean sacrificing style. While oversized puffy jackets have their place, true winter style is all about mastering the art of layering. From tailored coats to cozy knits, smart layering keeps you warm without compromising your look.

It can be challenging to level up your outerwear game and face the cold in style. Today, I’ve partnered up with the team at S-Gents, to showcase just one of many ways to layer up with a statement coat, as well as how to complement the entire look.

When those Artic temps hit, you’ll want to know how to properly layer to keep warm. So here are a few tips to stay bundled and looking winter fresh, without looking like the marshmallow man.

Introduce Mid-layers - Opting for a light-down, quilted vest under a single-breasted car coat will keep you warm without adding bulk. You’ll appreciate it, especially if you’re someone that can run hot easily. Or, if you’re going to be going in and out often.

Complimentary Footwear - Pairing a lugged sole loafer with the look elevates it in a sophisticated manner. Just remember to wear a thicker, warmer sock. Another fitting shoe option, would be a lugged sole, cap-toe or wingtip boot.

Statement Piece Outerwear - The SG Car Coat is the perfect companion to be worn over your winter suits, because of its modern cut and medium weight wool-blend fabric. In addition, this style of coat features a collar that offers a bolder appearance than that of your traditional notch or peak lapel. Not to mention, its distinguished pattern makes it easy to pair with the simplest of outfits, while looking stylish.

Having Fun with Accessories - I’m tying this look together with silver signet rings and bracelet, as well as a stainless steel watch. I’ve also added these blue tinted frames for a stylish personal touch. To withstand the freezing temperatures, these black leather gloves work like a charm. And finally a snuff suede duffle bag to carry my personal belongings.

Make it Dual Purpose - As a style piece, the quilted vest (when worn solo) has great shape and can accentuate your look.

Well Gents, I hope you enjoyed this read and my take on staying warm with an overcoat this winter. Check out a cinematic reel of this outfit here.
